The knowledge and disposition of heart that the Lord trained him was easily identified in his posture to God and spiritual authority. This led to many of the members reaching out to him for mentorship; each desiring to be taught how to properly align themselves with God, authority, and the vision of the ministry.

One day after a service one of the brothers of the ministry approached him in tears saying, “please teach me… I want to be a son.” The sincerity of his request sent Dr. McCree to tears, and he assured him that he would teach him, although he had no idea how. As he drove away weeping, he asked, “Father how, how can I spend time with them all? How can I reach them all? How do I teach them all what you have taught me” The Lord answered, “Gather them, gather the Sons and teach them all at once.”

Immediately the next day Dr. McCree went to Bishop Bias and shared his encounter with God. Bishop’s Spirit bared witnessed and he immediately pulled out Agape’s calendar to set the dates aside. He then asked Jesse the question that set the stage… what will you call this? Still feeling overwhelmed, and at a loss for words, the voice of God replaying in his mind: “…gather the Sons and teach them all at once.” Therefore, without thinking He said, “we will call it what God called it… it is a Gathering of The Sons.”

The first conference was on the books… and the next confirmation was about to happen: Bishop Bias shared what God said with his brother and friend, who is Dr. McCree’s beloved uncle, Apostle Lee Lyons. He being sensitive to the things of God, as well as one of the voices to help shaped Dr. McCree in his junior years in ministry, immediately urged by God, set aside the week to join the conference. He was the first of many leaders, who attend this conference, to be refreshed in their assignments, while also helping other sons be renewed.

Following the counsel of Bishop Bias, Dr. McCree never sought to make it an annual conference; only calling this conference by the leading of the Lord. As Global Impact was birthed, the Lord has constantly called the conference, even amidst the pandemic, God called and ministered as He always has. Each time that God gathers us, there is revelation and fresh grace being poured out from His presence.
